Cookies
This website only sets the technically necessary cookie described under "Language preference cookie". No analytics or marketing cookies are used. A consent banner is therefore not required.
Investor self-certification
Your investor-category selection is stored exclusively in your browser’s memory (sessionStorage) and is deleted when you close the browser tab. It is never transmitted to our server. The legal basis is § 25(2)(2) TDDDG, as the storage is strictly necessary for the presentation you have requested.
Language preference cookie
This website sets a cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember your language preference. The cookie contains only the language code (e.g. "de" or "en") and is technically necessary to preserve your preferred language on subsequent visits. The legal basis is § 25(2)(2) TDDDG.
Contact form
The contact form does not transmit any data to our server. Clicking submit opens your local email client with a pre-drafted message. Your details only reach us when you choose to send that email — via the same channel as any ordinary email. No data processing agreement applies.
Processing your enquiry
If you send us an enquiry, we process the information it contains to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise. We delete the data once it is no longer needed for its purpose, unless statutory retention periods apply.
Analytics
If web analytics are used, they are cookie-free and do not create personal profiles. At present, no analytics are active.
Third-country transfers
The controller is based in the United Kingdom. Transfers are made on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the United Kingdom (Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/1772). This decision is time-limited and subject to regular review by the Commission; the legal basis will be updated if it lapses.
Representative in the European Union
The controller is not established in the EU but targets EU investors with this site (Art. 3(2) GDPR). The obligation to appoint a representative under Art. 27(1) GDPR is currently under review. The controller believes that the exemption under Art. 27(2)(a) GDPR applies, as processing is only occasional, not on a large scale, and does not involve special categories of data. This assessment will be confirmed by counsel before publication.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for the controller is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, United Kingdom. You may also contact the data-protection authority in your country of residence.
Server log files
When pages are accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary access data. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Details of the hosting provider will be added once appointed.
